An Environmentalist with an Economist's Approach.

Hank Lattimore has more than 12 years of experience in the landfill and solid waste management and disposal business.  Since 2019, he has partnered with Jim at The Lattimore Company to lead ITS as Assistant General Manager. Together they have successfully entered into municipal contracts for managing solid waste disposal facilities. This year were recognized by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) for operating one of the cleanest landfills in the state.  TCEQ has plans for hosting all their inspector training in the market and using this landfill as their practical experience for the class. Hank continues to seek ways to assist others in obtaining and exceeding their goals through strategic partnerships and consulting.

Hank jump-started his professional career as a manager, innovator and strategic planner when, upon graduation from college, he assumed a position with Allied Waste Industries in the greater Houston, TX area. Having earned a bachelor of science degree with a major in economics and minor in finance from the University of Texas at Arlington, he focused on the recycling component of solid waste management operations. Engaged with both plant management and transportation, Hank was successful in combining the two distinct functions into one, maximizing efficiency. Not only did it work financially, but it also expanded transportation operations to deliver better service to Allied customers such as the City of Houston, Houston ISD, and Walmart.

For more than a decade, Hank was a valued team member and leader of Marriott in multiple markets across the Southwestern and Southern regions of the U.S. He focused on transitioning hotels, serving as the General Manager to bring about positive results during these periods. In doing so, he successfully managed multiple stakeholders in order to maintain and grow a balanced scorecard. These successes include creating and implementing multi-year capital plans to bring hotels up to standards, contract renegotiations that have allowed hotels to maintain mutually beneficial relationships, and adjusting processes and staffing to ensure high guest satisfaction while achieving significant financial savings.

Community service is important to Hank, who has been active in the Big Brothers, Big Sisters program beginning in college and continuing as his job locations would allow. A Rotarian, he is also active with the Greater Fort Worth/Tarrant County Hotel Association. Over the years, he has earned both the U.S. Coast Guard OUPV License and a private pilot’s license. Hank has long competed in, and won, national and international J-80 sailboat races.
